When you are traveling with your children, you have to plan to keep them entertained! I absolutely love traveling with my kids. They are so much fun! But, whether they are teens or toddlers, kids get BORED very easily. It doesn’t even matter if you are going someplace as exciting as Disney World! Kids will still get bored during the trip. Not only have I been a bored kid, I’ve had bored kids! And sometimes it isn’t even being bored. It could be that they are overwhelmed and tired! We have been there, done that. You need some downtime. I’ve got a super idea to make your family travel much more enjoyable.
Best Buy has introduced a new section of their site containing amazing family travel tips! My favorite, and the one that would work best with my family, is the Ultimate Video on Demand. I have Roku at home, but it is not a Roku Stick. The Roku Stick would be perfect to take with you for Family Travel. It is tiny enough to put in your purse, so you don’t need to stress about packing anything bulky. If you’ve got Netflix, you can watch it right on the Roku Stick. Roku also supports Amazon Prime, Hulu and more.
Sometimes just making it to the hotel can be exhausting. Whether you are driving or flying, things about both means of travel wear you out! When you get to the hotel, you just want to chill. Pop in the Roku Stick from Best Buy, pick your favorite movie or television show, and just relax! After a couple of hours of just vegging out, you will feel so much more ready to begin your vacation.
