My review of Have You Seen Him
Have You Seen Him by Kimberly Lee is an action-packed thriller that will keep you turning the pages! When I read the synopsis I knew I wanted to read it. I ended up reading it in a day because I had to know how everything would play out. Can you imagine seeing your picture on a missing child flyer? Especially if you had no idea you were missing…you thought you were abandoned! Welcome to David’s life.
There are a lot of characters in this book, yet they are very easy to keep straight. I really enjoyed the multiple points of view through which the story unfolds. It helped propel the story because it made me want to get back to whomever’s scene I was just in! Of course, it is mainly told from David’s perspective, but as the book progresses, more viewpoints are added. Each of the characters who play major roles are well-written and realistic. Even though you don’t know much about them, the minor characters aren’t just filler. They’re there for a reason.
I was really surprised by the way the story unfolded! So many things happen that I didn’t expect when I first started reading. I can’t explain them without giving too much away! You just need to know that there is a lot of action, conspiracies, murders (not gruesome), and people who are relentless in pursuing what they want! For those of you who like to be informed about content ahead of time, I’d consider this a PG-PG13 book with less than a handful of swear words.
The way that the book ends is very open-ended with the possibility of further books. I would have liked a few more chapters, but maybe we’ll get more resolution in more books!
All in all, Have You Seen Him is a captivating thriller with great characters and an enthralling plot! I definitely recommend it to those of you who enjoy this genre!
