Easy Homemade Apple Butter

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs apples (I used Mackintosh) peeled, cored, cut into chunks
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/3 c. brown sugar
  • 1 t. lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 t. cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Add prepared apples, sugars, cinnamon and lemon juice to your pressure cooker.

  2. Press pressure cook button and set the time for 15 minutes.

  3. Allow pressure cooker to do a natural release.

  4. Puree with immersion blender.

Recipe Notes

This recipe makes close to a quart of apple butter. You can can, freeze or refrigerate it depending on how long you need to store it. My family will eat it all, so I just refrigerate it.
