In Disney’s MARY POPPINS RETURNS, an all-new original musical and sequel, Mary Poppins is back to help the next generation of the Banks family find the joy and wonder missing in their lives following a personal loss.

Jack (Lin-Manuel Miranda) Mary Poppins (Emily Blunt) and the Banks children with a crew of street lamplighters at 17 Cherry Tree Lane in Disney’s original musical MARY POPPINS RETURNS, a sequel to the 1964 MARY POPPINS which takes audiences on an entirely new adventure with the practically perfect nanny and the Banks family.
Emily Blunt stars as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any ordinary task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure, and Lin-Manuel Miranda plays her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light and life to the streets of London.
Mary Poppins Cupcakes
Ingredients for the fondant umbrellas
1 tube of white fondant
small circle fondant cutter
1 C powdered sugar
fondant rolling pin
1 can of blue edible spray
1 tube of black cookie icing
Directions for the fondant umbrellas
Sprinkle powdered sugar onto a cutting board
Place the white fondant onto the cutting board and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness
Use the fondant cutter and cut out 22 circles
Use the blue spray and spray around the edges of the circle leaving a little bit of white in the center
Using the black icing, pipe an umbrella into the center
Allow to air dry for a few hours before making the cupcakes
Ingredients for the cupcakes
1 box of French Vanilla cake mix
3 large eggs room temp
1/2 C of softened unsalted sweet cream butter
1 C whole milk
1 TBSP pure vanilla extract
Red and white striped cupcake liners
cupcake pan
Directions for the cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350.
Line cupcake pan with the cupcake liners
In a medium bowl, add the cake mix, eggs, butter, milk, and vanilla extract, stir until combined
Fill cupcake liners 3/4 of the way full.
Bake in the oven for about 21 minutes.
Pull out the cupcakes and allow to cool before frosting.
Makes 22 Cupcakes
Frosting Ingredients
1 C unsalted sweet cream butter, softened
2 1/2 C powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3-5 TBSP heavy whipping cream
1 large piping bag fitted with a star tip
Frosting Directions
Using a stand mixer, combine all ingredients and mix on medium speed.
Mix until you see stiff peaks in your frosting.
Scoop frosting into the piping bag
Frost the cooled cupcakes
Place the fondant pieces into the frosting
Enjoy!

Celebrate Mary Poppins Returns with these adorable and delicious cupcakes!
Ingredients
