A-parent-ly Christmas (by Amy R Anguish)
Noel and Joy Davidson didn’t mean to separate, but a job promotion and educational opportunities were too much for their marriage to withstand. Now, it’s Christmas and their son Andy wants them together. Between his mischief, an unexpected snowstorm, and the holiday spirit, they’re remembering why they first wanted to be together. But which one will give up their dream for the other?
A Match of her Own (by Sarah Anne Crouch)
Victoria Wood is torn between elation and devastation now that her sister is married and gone. When she realizes her sister’s best friend is alone and best-friend-less on Christmas, she knows just what to do. Set her up with a boyfriend! But pesky Jared Knight keeps getting in the way. Jared can’t date Victoria—she’s too immature—but he can’t convince his heart to move on. How will he keep Victoria from ruining everyone’s love lives? When will she realize her perfect match is closer than she thinks?
Jingle Bell Matchmakers (by Lori DeJong)
When country music star Aubrey Mayfield is lured home after years away, she’s bewildered when she and ex-fiance-now-widowed-dad Cody Lansdale keep finding themselves in the same place at the same time. As they become reacquainted, however, old feelings stir. Aubrey’s at a crossroads in her career and is contemplating a change. But when a chance at headlining her own tour takes her back to Nashville, Cody realizes her dreams may once again come between them. Unless God, with a little help from the Jingle Bell Committee, has a better plan.
The Santa Setup (by Heather Greer)
Turning friendship into love takes magic. Good thing Nicholas Eckert and Julie Clarke work at Christmas Wonderland. The attraction brims with holiday magic, not to mention four teenage elves determined that Mr. and Mrs. Claus stop playing a couple and become one. The teens will need more than mistletoe to pair up these two. Julie is seeing someone, and Nick won’t risk their friendship for possible love. Only the elven employees’ outrageous antics stand a chance of setting up Santa in time for Christmas.

My review of A Match Made at Christmas
The four novellas which make up A Match Made at Christmas are all extremely sweet and will get you into the Christmas mood! Each author brings her own special twist on the matchmaking theme which unites all four stories and is the only way the stories connect.
A-parent-ly Christmas by Amy R Anguish is a cute second-chance romance about a couple who has been separated for several months due to a job promotion which took husband, Noel, out of state and his wife, Joy, who has gone back to college and doesn’t want to lose credits by transferring to a new school. Basically, stubborn parents! Their little boy, Andy, concocts ways for them to be together on Christmas. I adored this story! It was so heartwarming, had well-written characters, and a very Christmas-y vibe!
A Match of her Own by Sarah Anne Crouch is one that fans of Jane Austen’s Emma will enjoy. The author does a good job reimagining the characters, and you’ll easily see who is who. Victoria is convinced she’s a great matchmaker though she’s kind of a disaster at it….like Emma! Jared has come to know Victoria well over the past couple of years as they’ve helped plan their respective siblings’ wedding. I loved Jared and appreciated how well the characters lined up to those in one of my favorite Jane Austen novels.
Jingle Bell Matchmakers by Lori DeJong is a single dad, second-chance, celebrity romance rolled into one, and I loved it tremendously! Aubrey and Cody have a complicated past, but they have lived their lives well in their many years apart. Though Aubrey has yet to become the headlining country music star she hoped to become, she’s had two gold records and has toured with the big names in country music. Cody made the decision to walk away from his Nashville dreams when Aubrey signed on without him. He got married to a wonderful woman who had a toddler daughter. He’s now a widower and living in the town he and Aubrey grew up in. I loved the scheming matchmakers who kept making sure that Aubrey and Cody had the chance to reconnect. They had the best of intentions, and I laughed a lot while reading this! I was completely charmed by the setting, characters, inspirational message, and the swoony, sweet romance!
The Santa Setup by Heather Greer is a charming best friends to more romance that will also have you laughing out loud. The setting of this story is a park called Christmas Wonderland that’s been in Nick’s family since the beginning many, many years ago. Nick loves playing Santa, and Julie loves being Mrs. Claus though not quite as much as she loves crafting new candies for the sweets shop in Wonderland. Nick and Julie are really affectionate though with Julie, it’s just because Nick’s her best friend. However, Nick is in love with Julie! With help from some teenaged elves (who see the obvious fact that Nick and Julie belong together), Julie eventually realizes that her true love has been Nick all along. I thought that these two were so cute together and kept wondering what was wrong with Julie!! Maybe all of the chocolate dulled her senses…no. Not possible.
These four stories will warm your heart, remind you that God is in control, and give you all of the Christmas-y feels you need! I loved that when I ended each story, I was totally not ready for them to end! That was how good they were! I highly recommend A Match Made at Christmas!
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
