Golden Blossom Honey Review

Food

Thanks for sharing!

I received the following products in order to facilitate and honest review. All opinions are my own and may differ from yours.

Golden Blossom Honey

We use a lot of honey in my house! My daughter and I love tea. My daughter uses honey in her tea at least twice a day. Honey is so good for you. As I’m writing this, my son is sick with a sore throat. What does he take for it? Honey! It is also really great if you’ve got a cough.

As soon as we got this honey, my son tried both. He wondered what the difference was, so he tried a spoonful of each. He said that the Golden Blossom Organic Honey is stronger than the Golden Blossom Honey. I agree. It’s got a stronger flavor. I like them both, but the organic is definitely my favorite.

Try this Ginger and Honey Citrus Sore Throat Home Treatment

Ingredients

4 Tbsp Golden Honey Blossom Honey
Juice of 1 large lemon
3 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp ground ginger

Mix all ingredients in a jar. Every hour, take 1 tsp, gargle, and then swallow the remedy.

Golden Blossom Honey is 100% pure US Honey. It is a unique mix of 3 different honeys all from the USA. It is certified Kosher and gluten free. The company has been owned by and operated by John Paton Inc. since 1921.

Golden Blossom Organic Honey is sourced from the White Forest region in NE Brazil. 1% of the sales of this honey goes to Pollination Planet which educates people about how to save bees and other pollinators which in turn protects the food supply.

Pollination Planet is a wonderful program. Did you know that there are over 1,000 plants grown for food, spices, beverages, fibers and medicine that all need to be pollinated by animals? Without them, our food supply will suffer. Your purchase of Golden Blossom Honey helps!

Recipes

We all have special recipes we make for the holidays. Golden Blossom has a HUGE recipe section! Here is one I want to try for this coming Christmas.

Cranberry Oat Walnut Bread

Ingredients
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup quick cooking oats (not instant)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup GOLDEN BLOSSOM HONEY
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
2 cups cranberries, fresh or frozen
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 °. Grease two 8×4″ pans or four 5 3/4″x 3 1/4″ (found in grocery store with disposable foil pans)
Stir together the first 6 ingredients. In a separate bowl whisk together honey, oil, eggs and milk. Add dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in cranberries and walnuts.
Divide batter between pans. Bake 30-35 minutes for small pans or 40-45 minutes for larger pans or until breads test done.
Cool on wire rack. Remove from pans and wrap tightly until ready to serve. These loaves will freeze nicely.
